WHAT IS THE WEBQ BRAINTRUST?

The WebQ Braintrust consists of champions, advocates and subject matter experts that align with the mission, vision, and values of WebQ.

The Braintrust is the “Web” of WebQ.

WebQ operates in accordance with Design Justice Principals.

COMMITMENT OF MEMBERS

There is no time obligation or fiduciary commitment to join the Braintrust.

Braintrust members need only continue to be beacons who champion our values and wield their privilege to advance the cause: developing and defending systems of opportunity for communities historically left in the margins.

The WebQ Braintrust is where our working groups, advisory panels, and future board members are cultivated.

Opportunities for deeper engagement are at each member’s discretion and only with their consent.

HOW DOES THE BRAINTRUST FUNCTION?

Individuals and organizations apply for or are invited to join the Braintrust.

Members donate their time and expertise.

When WebQ needs input on a program, policy, or organizational concern, we ask the Braintrust to offer skills and perspective.

Based on the member’s profile they may be invited to take on roles, participate in specific programs, attend meetings or conferences, or review documents.

WebQ may put out calls for Braintrust members to advocate or take action.

Members may propose programs to be developed under WebQ auspices.

We are all experts of our own lived experience.

Please let us know below what skills and perspectives you would like to contribute.

We look forward to collaborating with you.
